oh no...yeah, no bueno. Fail as in it will stall....or keep running? I may not even have to jack it up. It's parked nose down at about a 12* grade.

If it runs and doesn't die with the tail end up, the pickup tube is probably cracked.

If it starts and stalls the same as what it is doing while level, the pickup tube isn't the problem.

I just had to replace my dip stick fitting last week and snapped a few pictures you can see where the pick up tube sits in in relation to the oil level (about 2 quarts low there)

If it runs with it jacked up then that's not good.

Just start with what we talked about last night

Electric fuel pump. Gets rid of the stock mechanical pump and the leaks with it.
