Made a deal on a 72 Ranger.

Clean and unmolested. 390 auto with A/C and power steering.

First order of business is brakes. Starts right up but needs a tune.

Not just a Ranger but a Ranger XLT. That rear decor panel is worth some bucks if it is cherry.

Congrats.

Looks like a clean straight truck. Congratulations! Not a fan of the running boards and hood ornament though!

The guy I bought it from is getting the Mack bulldog back, it was his Dad's truck and I'm giving it back to him as a keepsake. The running boards are the next thing that are coming off the truck. Also the two spare tire carriers are gone.

Jeff, that hood ornament is a little too shiny for this old truck right now. Thanks for all the kind words. Been looking for a bump for a while and have let a few slide through my fingers. Drove the old girl to work today and forgot how long an 8 foot box on a truck was. Got up to 95 today and was wishing the A/C worked. Opened up the wing window and cranked up the AM just like the old days when I was driving one of these to high school.
