Windshield Wiper Switch
I have a 1975 F250, and the windshield wiper switch only works on the 'high' setting. My truck does not have intermittent wipers. I was looking in the LMC catalog, and they have two switches available - one for models with intermittent wipers, and one for models without.
ASSuming the switch is my problem - does anyone know if you can install the switch for intermittent wipers to a truck that did not come from the factory with intermittent wipers, and reap all the benefits of delayed wiper action? Or are there other parts involved in the intermittent wiper setup?

This is my first ol' Ford truck, and the switch was broken when I got it. Typically, when you turn the wipers off on one of these trucks, do the wipers return and rest in the down position? Right now when I turn the switch from 'high' to 'off', the wipers just stop dead in their tracks - where ever they are on the windshield.

Low speed and park function are the same section in the wiper motor.
Check for power at the Red wire (I believe, going by memory) at the motor. If power there, then it has to be the motor.

Got into the project today. I followed your advice and checked the red wire and there was power there. But upon further inspection the white wire (Low Speed & Park) had been spliced into by the PO, and had been cut clean through. I cleaned up the wiring, reattached the white wire to itself, and everything works as it is suppose to. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction before I tried swapping motors. After looking at the wiper motor location, I am jacked it was just a cut wire!

Easy to upgrade to intermitant wipers
Glad to see you got your wipers working again, but it is actually easy to upgrade to intermittent wipers. All you need is a switch and delay module from a doner vehicle. If I remember, any truck up to the late 80's has the same plug. All you do is unplug factory harness. replace switch. Delay module plugs into switch and factory harness plugs into delay module. It works like a dream. I bought a used one online and it has been working perfect for past 5+ years. Turn **** to left for interval, and to right for normal low high settings. An easy upgrade that everyone should make to make trucks more usable.

It seems to be an easy upgrade. I will keep my eye open for the parts for sure. I am stoked that I got my wipers to work on low, and return to park headed into the rainy/wet fall weather in the meantime. So with the switch, and delay box it seems to be a plug-n-play option. No need to replace the motor right?

easy swap
No, motor stays. only thing removed is old switch and only two things added is new switch and delay box. Very simple 15 minuite upgrade. I am very glad I did mine for times when even low speed is too fast.
