Hi, i recently just picked up a 03 f250 7.3 fx4, im looking at getting some bfgoodrich a/t ko's but i dont know much about tire size for the 7'' rim. ive seen some posts and people say that 285 75 16 would fit but thats a lil big for stock rim and then ive seen 265 bc thats the stock size. I really dont want stock 265 bc i want a little bigger tire and better looking and stance all around. I dont wanna lift it for time being and am going to stay at stock height but from what ive been told 285 75 16 on stock rims with stock height would make my truck look weird bc the tire would fill in the wheel well so much. Is this true? and does any one have any pics of their trucks with 265, 275 or 285 tires on them with Stock Height and Rims? id really like to see how it would look and lemme know what the best tire size to get would be. I wanna be good in mud and snow and still be able to pull people out of any mess if need be. Thanks guys

I personally like the look of a full wheel well. I would stuff the biggest tire under there that you can fit without rubbing. Looking "weird" is in the eye of the beholder. Here is stock height 250 rolling 35" tires (285 BFG's are 32.7") and it looks pretty good IMHO.
That 250's sittin pretty high in the front. Same height as my 03? but i do like the way it looks, looks alot better then stock. i want to get 275 75 16 but i guess bfg doesnt make those tires any more and not many places carry that size. i think they only size they had is 275 70 16 but load D range. Or else i have to go up to 285. Idk, i may go to a tire place and see if they can mount one tire for me and see what it looks like, sounds weird but i gotta see how it will all look. hahah, thanks. Anyone have any more pics?
Nice, Thanks for the pics, this helps me out alot. Now since i have the lariat package n rims, they will be able to fit the same size (285 75 16) as in the pictures of the silver f250. Is that correct? im pretty sure theyre both 16x7's.
For only having stock 265 tires, the gaps in the front look small already, 285's i think would be alot closer but the silver 250 looked just the way id want it
here are some more pics of the OP's truck so yall can see how much gap he has in the wheel wells.
Steve are you sure that your trucks stock? Your truck looks taller then the OP's truck. With the height of the OP's truck i think that the 285s would fill in the wheel well alott

Yes,bone stock except for the Bilsteins
Ok, i wonder why yours looks taller while the 285s not filling out the wheel well. I had a excur with a 4 inch lift and 285s and it left the gap between the tires and the fenders like your trucks gap.
