Talking I want to hear your brake suggestions

I HAVE A 2000 F250 SD WITH THE 5.4L TRITON, 4X4, 4DR CREW. WHAT ARE YOUR SUGGESTIONS ON AFTER MARKET BREAK PADS? i WAS THINKING ABOUT USING EBCs. IF I USE EBCs WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU GO WITH? THE TRUCK IS VERY HEAVY WITH FULL FRONT AND REAR BUMPER REPLACEMENTS.

I used the Hawk LTS pads on my '99 F250. My truck is also very heavy with at least a ton of tools in the toolbox. These pads have been on for 2 years now. I installed them with Powerslot cryo rotors.

I just bought new front and rear rotors from Napa and I'm going to pick up new Hawks front and rear LTS pads from Summit this weekend. I plan on installing everything this weekend as well. I hope they make a good improvment over the junk that is on there now (which is probably not hard to do).

I have about 100 miles on Hawk LTS pads all around. Work great so far with Powerslot Cryo rotors up front and regular powerslot rotors in the rear.

If you do install new brake pads, you will want to have your rotors checked and re-surfaced or replaced.

Have any of you used the Hawk SD pads? Is there a reason everyone is choosing the LTS vs the SD Hawk pads?

I went for the LTS over the SD pads for less brake dust and less noise with not much less stopping power...

My latest pad choice is the premium Napa ceramic. Pricey, but work very very well. Best brake response of any pad I've used on this truck.

I use Napa pads and rotors on all my cars the past few brake jobs. Been happy with them. Now you have me thinking.
