96 Explorer Temp Gauge
My temp gauge is not working - needle just laying down below cold - checked sending unit but doesn't seem to be the problem. Read in another post that a TSB was issued for this but not having any luck using the TSB link above. Anyone familiar with this problem or know where I might find the TSB.

Heres a very simple little test to see if the gauge is working.
Remove the wire (red wire with white stripe) from the sending unit and shove a nail in it.
Turn the key one click to the run position & ground the wire beside the sending unit.
Does the gauge move to full hot?
