Gauge cluster??

Does anyone know how much a cluster can run? After a new oil cooler and a new ECT the guage still bounces around which pisses me off after $1600.00 to fix the Gauge problem. I read about a TSB of when the guage rises and normal temps replace the cluster. Or is it possible to but a mechanical guage?

I wouldn't do a mechanical gauge unless you want hot fluid going into the cab. I would do an electric gauge(what I use) and accurate enough and even better then the ford gauge for more then one reason.
