I take it you're the one looking for it on craigslist. I saw the ad when I googled for the intake. To be honest it wasn't the best intake Edelbrock made during the smog era. It is severly handicapped with small ports. You might be better off using a Clifford or Offenhauser intakes as they are more plentiful and have better options like 4v and such. That is unless you are going specifically for that intake for nastolgic reasons.
I have engine compartment restrictions ... a '66 Ford Falcon Van to be exact ... I have a Clifford intake but would have to butcher the passenger side of the compartment ... would like to keep it as stock looking as possible ...
I called summit racing to see if they have the diamentions of the Offen (phone 323-225-1307) intake to see if that might be narrow enough to fit in your van. The sales rep was kind of clueless as to why I would need that info and gave my the verbal polish salute. Polish salute = raise both your arms to the side shoulder height, **** your head to the side and shrug your shoulders. Could you measure the head mounting flange to the outboard carb studs? That will help out a little to find which intake will fit for sure if you can't find a Streetmaster.
... just sent e-mail and see what happens ... appreciate the help! Yes I'm the Craiglist poster ... determined to find one ... need all the help I can get ... almost as rare as a decent woman in your life ... lol,lol
