This sounds great, so nice to acutally meet a fellow FTE`r in person and someone you have spent time with here.
So many of us are so far apart it may never happen for most of us.
Some times it`s hard to even meet with of local members but great when it does.
I'm headed up to Winston-Salem for the Heavy Rebel Weekender in July. I may have to run over to Raliegh to see a mid Century furniture dealer I trade with while I'm up that way.
I was able to meet a lot of the FTE 48-60 group at the supernationals last year. It was great to see so many friendly faces and and figure out the user name they went to. One I didn't realize was a member here until he saw me post a picture of his intrerior. LOL
My name is easy to figure out from the user name.
I would expect Axracer to have a blue face.......hmm....
I always try to stop and visit my internet truck friends whenever I make a trip anywhere. I have met few so far. It is fun to put a face on someone, it adds a whole new dimension when I get back on the board and see someone I met post something.
So far I have met bigwin56 and a real cool dude.He amazed me with a whole bunch of 56s,and seems he loves these trucks maybe even more than me.
Seems like I will meet ksmith203 soon at his restaurant, and maybe JIM HACKNEY if he is around.kSMITH Amazes me with all his progress.--I wish I was 35ish again!!!
It is pretty cool when you meet guys that don't think you are senile 'cause you like the old ford trucks and think of them so much.Makes me feel sane!!!!
I've been able to meet a couple of members over the years, including a few trips around Lake Michigan to pick up parts from Bob (bobj49F2)... the only problem is that every time I go over, I come back with a truck load of rusty metal to play with..
I hope to meet all that are going to the Supernats this year. I'll see quite a few of the Arkansas chapter members tomorrow. Funny how when you meet someone you've chatted with on the net, they don't look nothing like you expected
