I had a short but great visit with AX, Chuck, and wife Donna. I came over the hill with the sun in my eyes trying to read the road signs. It was easy to spot. I saw the garage mahal first and took that road right to the place. It was a cameo visit but it is really great to put a face with a name.
Gracie is one solid panel. You can not beat the sheet metal quality coming out of the southwest and the garage mahal is one fine toybox!
I even got a short ride in the new Solstice-impressive.
Thanks AX for the hospitality. The contributions to the forum by AX since I have been a member of this forum have been huge. We all owe AX a big thank you.
Fantastic! I know that this is a great group of people, but its even more impressive that its a great group of people on a real level as well instead of the anonymity of the internet.
I have met one of the local guys, AlbuqF1, he's a great guy. I have plans on meeting another local sometime soon as well.
Ax, Bill's a great guy. I've spoken to him on the phone several times, and once I got past the funny accent, (I used to talk like that too, before almost 30 years in Colorado) we had some great car guy talks. So Ax, when are you coming out here to autocross?

I don't expect we'll be traveling quite that far anytime soon. Not that we would mind seeing that part of the country, but that's a very long drive from here.
I will be back Tuesday evening. Next Saturday is fine with me. Are you available Jim Hackney?
I usually turn my trips so i can work on my truck. I have the radiator coming in and want to put the front clip back on my truck. Maybe I can talk walford into giving me some body work lessons.
