No, green/purple and yellow are hot at all times. For switched you will need to use either red/black, blue/green, grey/yellow, d.red/black. Grey/yellow will also be active when key is in accessory.

Then brown in the headlight switch for illumination of the guage.

The Light was already in Place and lit..But not sensor. Thanks for clarifying that...I notice also in the installation guide that over the second bolt on tranny..drivers side they show abolt to remove to screw in sensor...I thought you drill into pan??

It is much nicer to have to drill the pan. Often enough there are set screws used as plugs, it sounds like your lucky enough to have one. You still can drill the pan if you wish though.

There is a Bolt but its about 2 inches or so from bottom of pan, maybe higher..Just above the gasket over second pan bolt back on drivers side...Seems too high but I guess with 17.7QTS it would register

It is probibly in the path to the trans cooler lines so it measures fluid temp pre cooler.

Well, it would be the actually trans fluid temp, as apposed to the fluid temp coming out of the cooler or just sitting on the bottom of the trans pan.
