GasBuddy limits fuel to $150.00
Diesels should be allowed 50 gallons at least, not put a stop on dollar amount
2 years ago, the 5.3L Suburban was drinking gas like an alcoholic when towing our 8,000 lb TT.
GasBuddy shut me off at $150 and no more fill ups for a week.
Phillips 66 has no limit, constant discount always.
But they don't have cooperating stations every where.

Since 2019 I have used the TSD Logistics fuel discount card which is now called Open Roads. The only catch is you are required to use a commercial diesel pump/lane.
For those of us that tow a lot, I actually prefer the commercial lanes and use them even when not towing. I am often finished fueling and moved out of the lane before my wife is as she filled the Escape with gasoline. Sometimes this is due to traffic at the gasoline lanes or her running in for something.
There is dollar limit or gallon limit at the commercial pump when using the Open Roads fuel card.
There is an app that shows a map with diesel prices and your purchases show up almost instantly in the transactions section. As I understand it, the card is an "EFS" card which can be issued to a company with a fleet of vehicles. Said company negotiates a discounted price for their fleet. Obviously the bigger the fleet the more negotiating power the company has. We as Open Roads EFS card holders are members of their fleet, despite there being no monthly or annual fees. The only fee is a small percentage of the discount is automatically paid back to Open Roads.
I regularly see .35 - .50 off the marked price per gallon. Sometimes the discount is close to $1.00 off per gallon. When filling up to 75 gallons of diesel, that is quite a big savings. Some people prefer to go to places like Buc-cees, but for me they are always busy and their fuel prices are only pennies cheaper than a competitor and not even close to the EFS negotiated price.
The only commercial diesel lanes the card does not currently work at is Pilot/Flying J. It used to, but then Good Sam got pissed off because they have a "discount" card agreement. I suspect it will not be too much longer before they are back in though.
Check it out, if it is something you ate interested in, go for it. If not, pass on it and find another solution that works for you.

I have no affiliation with Open Roads and only share this with you because you asked and it has saved me and thousands of others a lot of time and money over the years.
Sounds like you need what Sous has. sounds similar to what my fuel card does for my trucking business, otherwise i use mudflap but only is good in certain areas
Just drive up to the pump, tap, fill. I think its aet to a default of 150 right now, but i use my small tank and its not very large. If i hit the limit, i just tap again (ill just insert my card for that as that would be a large sum of fuel roughly 220l with hitch mod and second midship tank), but that means im usually filling both tanks.
I know the USA tends to be a bit behind on this sorta stuff though.
Get a credit card that lines up with the stations in your area to get points....
If i fill both tanks, i will gain points if i use points to make the fuel cheaper lol. We save a fair amount on groceries too.
