Banks iDash voltage setting?

Since I don't have a voltmeter gauge in my '20 XLT, I thought I'd just add it to my iDash.

There are two entries for Voltage. Does anyone know which one should be used? It looks like voltage reported over the CAN buss, and perhaps another for what's at the batteries?

The descriptions are vague. Anyone else configure their iDash with voltage reading?

Hey Joe currently not in my truck but this is the one I use... I'll have to peruse my PID list more closely and see what you mean.

I should've snapped a photo earlier this morning when I was looking for the voltage setting, sorry. But, there are two options available in the iDash.

Sounds familiar, I recall one mentioning "adfafd BUS" I think.

So, there's that one, and then one for BATT, if I recall correctly. I'll check them out again when I leave work today. Any idea what the "BUS" one reports? What's being reported to the CAN BUS?

Okay so this is the selection I have...

I just switched it to ECU Battery voltage which would be the "engine control unit" supplied voltage I'd assume.

The "B bus" voltage is the voltage for the Banks Bus system which in my case, is the voltage in the system of Banks products I have; two iDash units, the Pedal Monster and the Derringer tuner... They all hook up and go through the iDash, my first one and primary, Data Monster.

When I searched for "B Bus" on the website...

This is my opinion on this Joe...

Ah, ok, that makes sense! B for "Banks" Bus. From what I observed, and since I have no other Banks devices, they both reported the same thing. So, I guess it doesn't matter in my case. But, I'll just use the ECU Battery Voltage, I reckon.

Thanks for the clarification. I should've gone to the Banks site, first, lol...
