6.2 oil type

My 2011 F250 6.2 has since new I have used 5w-20 mobil but I have notice some oil companies selling 0w-20 and not carrying the 5w-20. Question can you use the 0w-20 in the 6.2 without problems year round?

In my 2013 I started using 5w-30 a few years ago. I don't think I would use 0w-20 especially in warm weather.

No. I would never use a ‘thinner’ oil than what is spec’d in the manual.

I used Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage 5W-30 for the last oil change. Runs like a dream. The newer 6.2Ls actually spec that.
