Does anyone know what the TBR of the front limited slip differential for the Raptor is? And how about for the Tremor? I was pnly able to find that the Raptor has a Torsen LSD and the Tremor has a Dana LSD, but I wasn't able to find the TBR. Is it 3:1, 4:1?
Torque bias ratio is the multiplier that gear-type limited slips have. I don't know what it is for Torsens. I've heard (but can't confirm) that it's 3.5:1 for rear axle application Truetracs and 2.5:1 for front axle application Truetracs. So what that means (if my numbers are right) is that a Truetrac will send 3.5 times as much torque to the tire with more traction as it takes to spin the tire with less traction.
I could well be wrong, but I'm not aware of Dana having a similar type of limited slip. If the Dana limited slip from the Tremor is a clutch-type, they don't have a torque bias ratio. Clutch-types add an amount of torque to the torque it takes to spin the first tire rather than multiply.
