06 expedition xlt slipping in first gear only
we recently purchased a 2006 Ford expedition XLT with the 5.4 3 valve motor. Everything was running fine, and then all the sudden my overdrive light started flashing and the vehicle became very sluggish like it was slipping in first gear. All other gears are working fine. Any thoughts on what this could possibly be?

The ONLY way that you'll know what's wrong is to get the codes read. Anything else is purely a guess. The places that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. You can geet Forscan, or take it to a good independent shop, or a Ford dealer to read these codes.
