IDS Network Fail - No response on the UBP line Pin 3 at the DLC
Doing a "Network Test" on IDS I get a "Network Fail - No response on the UBP line Pin 3 at the DLC" Anyone know anything about this error? Been trying to track down any gremlins in my truck. After reprogramming the PCM(PCM appears to of been pulled from a scrap yard because of the different tear tag), TCM and FICM to the proper tear tag I finally got my VIN to save in the PCM. Pulling up IDS OBD II Test mode 9 my PCM and TCM both show blank spaces. The VSM module fails as well but I'm not sure if line 3 communicates with that. VIN now has my VIN shown, took 2 reprogramming sessions to get this to take.
You may try disconnection various modules on the UPB network.
As a short would take that network out. Really any of the networks will have issues with a short.
I just checked mine, and I have a failure with the VSM and EATC (which is funny since I don't have an EATC). But I was able to get my info from OBD II Mode 9 Test.

I ALSO DON'T HAVE EATC🤭
My problem came when I swap EMTC to EATC
i swap it several time but always return to EMTC Normally except last time it stock at EATC Doing a "Network Test" on IDS I get a "Network Fail - No response on the UBP line Pin 3 at the DLC Some times I got this code an cluster U1262 SCP DATA LINK FAULT my vehicle is 2007 mercury monterey
