I think a 7.3 is too heavy for an F100, and the cost of conversion and end results are such that it makes more sense to buy an IDI equipped F250 instead of converting an F100.
The 7.3 is a dead simple swap. I have done many on these trucks. Look at my gallery. They fit just fine and if you use a C6 it's all bolt in. Just need to make new mounts. The radiator even works with the stock IDI fan. I did the IDI swaps because the 6.9 and 7.3 engines show up at the u pull all the time and I get them for 150.00 complete.
I considered this, even had a 6.9l at my disposal, once i saw the engine weight I passed. Way to heavy for a 1/2 ton front end and frame made for a 700lbs or less engine.
