Engine Swap
DSD, do a search [ if it is working, ] for gas to deisel swap. there have been several that thought about it. dont know if anyone has done it with one of the big torque engines or not. the swap would require a large amount of frame work and drivetrain modification. realy not a feasable swap.

I think the better Diesel seap to consider is a 6.9, 7.3 from a later Ford pickup, I think if you could find a complete truck with a 6.9 or 7.3 that it would be possible, lots of work, but done right it would be neat!
