DPF delete but not EGR

I took my F250 in to a reputable and long standing diesel performance shop. They recommended the DPF delete but told me the EGR delete was optional since the tuning will bypass it anyway. The few articles I read stated you will get some soot in the oil and it will blow smoke a bit but it won't harm your truck.

I'm going with a SCT tuner, intercooler pipe upgrade,CP4 Bypass kit,
DPF delete including Flo pro muffler and 4" pipe.

Anyone running your truck with no EGR delete but only DPF delete?

Yes, DPF delete and intact EGR. After dealing with rogue regens and bucking for over a year, I did and haven't looked back. The EGR will have to be replaced of I ever put it back as it will probably be frozen shut, but my truck runs amazingly now.

The only benefit to leaving it alone is about 30 minutes in time and the cost of the block off plates. It doesn't have to be blocked off, but it's kind of a no-brainer so most people do it.

So If I install the following, H&S EGR kit. it would work?

I might just do the job myself once the truck is done.

My understanding is that you have to install the block off plate for the EGR and definitely keep your exhaust piping that has to be removed for the delete for you to be able to put back to stock.

If needed for inspection, yes. If needed for intensive warranty, likely no.

Due to the simplicity of doing it like this if and when the time comes to get rid of the DPF this is the route i will go.

The block off plates for the EGR are easy enough but from almost every thing I’ve read is the little bolts like to snap off. I’m not really looking to drill and tap the holes.

I will simply delete the DPF and shut off the EGR with my tuner.

just soak the bolts with kroil or pb blaster for a week or so before you do the work.

Flo-Pro EGT pryo kit
I'm confused about this kit. There are two plates. I've seen where the EGT is located. Where do both plates go? Is it one or the other?

I ran outside and took this picture, it's really sunny and I'm horrible with both taking pictures and editing. My kit from No Limit Fab came with 4 plates. They patch the 4 holes left by removing the cross over exhaust pipes.
