Hi guys. Looking into a spartan tuner. I understand that the offroad tunes require DPF delete. Does it also require EGR delete?

 

You are fine, it will just disable the egr valve.

You have nothing to worry about as long as that can of death is out from under your truck.

 

EGR delete should be mandatory with delivery from the factory! As soon as you possibly can do-so, you should do a full delete of the EGR - everything - pipe, valve, everything... Sinister Diesel makes a pretty good kit.

 

The bd kit is the best imho if you don't have a tap kit... The up pipe blocking plate comes pre tapped so you can relocate your ebp sensor... If you live in the frozen north and have had your ebp sensor freeze you will understand.

I also like the design of the intake elbow...
