I ran across the this 1971 F100 the other day. It has a 302, C4 automatic. No rust, just dents. Engine is not frozen, missing radiator. Needs total restoration. Has title. SWB. What do you guys think it is worth? $1000 too much? These are all the pics I have.
I just noticed that delightful repair. I would say less than $500. It looks like there is a problem on the back of the cab as well. Might be a good parts truck though.
If the bed isn't too needy, it alone can be worth the $500. The rest of it is a parts truck or find a good cab and front clip from a donor.
I always say start with the best truck you can afford and don't be afraid to travel to get one without rust. $2500 and 1000 mile trip for a nice solid straight truck is way better than spending $1000 for a local banged up rust bucket. And cheaper in the long run.
