The kids and I just finished recording our second Bluegrass album. Still has to be mastered and pressed, but our studio time is finally done!
If anyone is interested, I'll post again when the album is finally released.
Also, anyone in the Westman/Brandon area, we're putting on a concert at the Erickson Legion hall on April 22nd at 7:30 pm. Bluegrass, classic country, etc.
That sounds like a lot of fun and hard work, you will have to let us know. I have been practicing my banjo and I am finally learning where the notes are on the neck. I still have a long way to go though. :-)
That's great to hear Colin!
As for songlist, we've a couple originals, but some of the covers are Atlanta, Out On the Ocean, Folsom Prison (I know that's not a bluegrass tune, but my son does such a good job!), Green Pastures, By the Mark, Polka on a Banjo and some more. Our first album from 4 years ago (all gospel) is available on Bandcamp. The band is Lazycreek Express. I'll update when the new one is digitally available.
