With no link I am assuming it's just the tuner with SCT's "canned" tunes. Those tunes are pretty generic for a wider variety of applications, you will find that quality custom tunes like the ones from 5Star (like everyone has recommended) will deliver better results for what you want and how you will be using your truck.
Have you checked out 5Star's pricing with the same tuner and their selection of custom tunes? If time is on your side, they do run decent sales at various times throughout the year.
I use an SCT device. It's out in the truck so I don't know the model number off the top of my head. My device and tunes came from 5 Star.
I think WE3ZS is probably correct. A bunch of generic tunes pre loaded onto it. The answer to one question on Amazon says any Ford gas or diesel from 1996-2014.
For my money, I'd go with a reputable tune seller who can take the specifics of your truck and your needs and program the device as needed.
For a few dollars more than Amazon, 5 Star has a couple of open box units that you can get custom tunes on for your truck. http://5startuning.com/product/7015-x4-flash-devices/

Thank you for the recommendation WE3ZS! We offer the same tuner with the option of tunes catered to your usage/mods. We always offer discounts to forum members when a sale is not on as well as open box items that can be hand at a discount. Most are used around the shop and look and function just as a new unit would. Any questions on any options let us know.

I'm likely to be purchasing one of these very soon. Just waiting on the tax money to come in. You may not have the used units available but I noticed you offer discount for members what is the difference between members of FTE or Military? This guy being both of those I was curious which one gets more benefits? I will be calling you guys as well when I make my order to configure my custom tunes to what is on my truck at that time.
I also love how it is lifetime tunes as long as you follow your specific guidelines posted on the webpage. Thanks for your continued service to FTE members as well as supporting your Military!

I have the SCT Livewire with 5 star tunes for my 99 V10, they rock. I've been using the 87 performance and the truck moces better a little better mileage and shifts firmer.
