What are the upper and lower shock mounts? I had a really hard time finding front shocks with stud mount top and bottom for a 4" lift. You may want to start looking at full spec sheets and go by top mount, bottom mount and length rather than someone's suggestion of a shock that is suppose to work. I went to into 4 wheel parts and they wouldn't even believe me about what I needed/had. I had to walk out when they told me they couldn't get me shocks until I changed the shock mounts
Note 1: Yes, I plan to keep the original-factory shock mounts
Note 2: With the 6" lift it becomes a "custom shock" and normal parts stores do not sell anything close the the needed travel length, compression to retro fit. I checked several websites and the Monroe shock master data sheets.
Seems like Skyjacker, Super Lift, and Rough Country are the last providers of this item.
Option B. Change the shock mounts, custom fab so that a factory size shock from another vehicle would would and thus be available in any parts store.
Yes looks like a standard/OEM mount set up shock (stud and stud on the front) and (top stud and bottom bolt) on the rear.
The rear looks to me a custom leaf pack, because even on a Skyjacker 6" you have to reuse the OEM block and the rear block does not look OEM height.
I also see rear disk brakes and what looks like traction or ladder bar axle brackets, nice.
Very good eyes.. Yes the rear springs are 100% custom. I had them made in 1998 by a spring shop. They ride like a lumber wagon. I see alot of companies out there now who offer "flexible" springs. Times are better..
