I have a problem. I bought some skyjacker shocks a while ago and never took them all the way out of the box. It seems my truck has stem mounts on both ends of the shock on the front and the shocks only have stem on one side. I have looked around for the duel stem shocks and they are a pain to find. My question is do you think I could use these mount adapters instead? I have seen Jeepers use them due to lift issues with stem shocks and its cheaper than ordering new shocks. Just to close this up, I went with the adapters after speaking with a guy at the local jeep shop and someone at 4wheel parts. They worked out really well and everything feels much sturdier than the stem mount shocks. I also have a lot more travel space for a future lift. Here they are installed. I plan on putting a good weld around them tomorrow but they are pretty in there just with the bolts.
