I lost the lid to my washer bottle very early on in the ownership of my truck. I'm at the point now where I kind of need it. When I push washer button I can hear the pump Working so I put a little fluid in the bottle to see if it works. And I got nothing but I still heard the pump working.
I'm going to replace all the lines and blow out the nozzles. Should I just buy a new bottle, lid, pump. Or source a lid and hope I just had a clogged line.
Or would I be better off going with a universal style reservoir that comes with it's own pump?
Your washer hose goes from the pump to a small T or Y fitting on the firewall - unplug that and see if you have a stream when you hit the washers. Since you can hear the washer motor spinning - if you have a stream there your problem is probably plugged nozzles. If no stream, the impeller may have come off your pump and you will need to pull the reservoir and possibly buy a new motor (not a worry, they are like $15).
