I'm curious what the top line of codes signify and if they indicate the status of a truck. Here is an example:
Note that the above truck, according to ETIS, is not built. It has the placeholder date.
My truck's sticker shows only the "R" above Ramp. It was built on 8-10 according to ETIS.
Finally, the window sticker for a 2017 truck sitting on the dealer's lot shows the exact same markings as the above, unbuilt example. Why do some have markings and others do not? What do the codes mean?
Don't know the answer but my window sticker only has a R on ramp. Build date was 8/17 but no ETIS date yet.
Thanks. I still cannot confirm if the ETIS date actually means the vehicle has been built or it is just the date it is supposed to be built. Ford Chat told me my truck was scheduled to be built the week of August 8th. ETIS showed up later and said it was built on the 10th...which was in line with that. ETA is supposed to be 9/4, but who knows.
Maybe I'll ask the dealer for the vehicle visibility report.

Another example of conflicting information provided by ford chat. I have chatted with them many meat times and every time they told me they cannot see when a vehicle is scheduled to be built. My original order is scheduled for week of August 29 but chat has said they cannot see that any info on the build dates and to check with my dealer.

You are right about that. This may be the first time I have ever seen someone saying that Ford Chat told them a Build Date.
