Saw my first 2017 Super Duty at a VT dealer
So, I finally got to see one of these tonight. Pretty excited. It was a 250 gas crew cab long bed in XL trim. Crank Windows! It was unlocked. I didn't think it seemed bigger than the 2016 it was parked next to. I felt th plastic gas door is a big step back form the sturdy metal ones we're used to. The inside looked very roomy but the dash is much more modern. I liked it.

I must say after sitting in one for the first time I was pleasantly surprised. The much less bulky seats feel more supportive and look much more proportionate to the cab. Also in regards to people's comments about the hood possibly holding water, that's a non issue as the front leading edge is nearly flush.

Another thing I noticed is that even on the XL, the instruments are electroluminescent and light up as brightly as any of the other models. This is in stark contrast to the previous gen which would not light up except when they chose to. The new 2.3" message center is a definite improvement over the 2-line dot matrix readout the older base model trucks had.
