i have a 1977 f100 custom, inline 6 with the gas tank behind the rear axle.
these two hoses are right where the gas nozzle inserts to fill up the tank. the larger hose is i preume called the fuel filler hose but i do not know what the smaller hose is called. i have two manuals and neither one of the manuals identify these hoses.
the picture with the hoses wet is from a short drive to the grocery store and back, about 3 miles round trip.
Someone who doesn't know better will sell you heater hose for less, but it won't last very long before the gas makes it look like the one you have. Trust me. Experience. Lol. My Napa has better fuel rated hoses than the other parts stores around me.
I've had fine luck with the carb gas hose, they have changed in the past decade since ethanol gas became standard. The efi hose is like three times the cost, and probably unavailable in that diameter anyway? The bigger diameter stuff is expensive anyway.
