Awesome 1963 PSD truck

I would not normally post something like this on here, but this is so cool! Man what I would give to have the cash to buy this truck. I had a 1966 like this I had torn down to the frame and got about halfway through before I had to sell it to raise cash for a family need. That was before I discovered psd's so this is like the perfect connection between the two. I'd change the rims to some 16.5s or so, but other than that, this would be my dream truck.

Hopefully there is no rule against posting this. I am not affiliated in any way with the seller. I just happened on it and thought I would share.

Ya, that is a neat old truck. I can't say that I like the wheel/tire combo though.

That is a cool truck! They need to replace the cracked dash bezel though

How else could they have done the dash, given that it's REQUIRED to properly run the transmission? 'Course, they shouldn't have wasted all this effort on an E4DOA in the first place. And the 10K external tach (it's a diesel, for eff's sake!) and the (by definition) fake dual exhaust have to go.

And that whiplash seat is obviously NOT from a '97. There's a reason those seats were banned....

Wonder if the re-purposed the tank selector switch, or just left it as a vestige. If it doesn't do anything, they should have fabbed a knockout plug for the dash bezel.

It looks pretty cool but I think I'd go a different route with it

Im just not a fan of putting a modern plastic dash in a classic truck. It would have looked nicer if they could have integrated it better, without it looking like an OBS dash was just placed on the steel dash.

It looks like the did a lot of things the right way on the major components (engine swap, tranny, etc) but when it came to the fine details it looks like they skimped or ran out of time on the build....
