So let me get this straight! You want to buy a PSD but can't so you went and dropped a grand on a camera!!
On a side note let me know how you like it. I am not gonna spend a grand on a camera but I did lose our (my wifes) camera after my trucks out of body experience. Can't find that stupid thing anywhere!

Replace it with a camera like my old one.
I currently have a canon SD750
has a HUGE screen on the back, and it fits in your pocket.
Its pretty durable too. I havn't droped it, but i accidently lean on it all the time in my front pocket.
My passion for photography is a bit stronger then my passion for Trucks. =)
Still diesel fuel in the veins though, no worries.
I baught the PSD of camera's.

I'm a canon guy all the way, but will be honest when it comes to others.
There are lots of good camera's out there though.
I like canon the best, but nikon make a good one. I dont know much about pentax though.

id really like to have a nice camera like that but i couldn't justify that kinda cabbage on a camera!

I justify it with a school expense.
But, to humble myself down on it. I'm going to have to make sure I enter photo contests and fairs next year to justify its use.
I've wanted to do this for a long time, and its a good opportunity too. I already take 15-20 pictures a day with my point and shoot.

They are great camera's. But. *shrugs*
Mine as well spend a few more dollars.
I want the ability to go hardcore, and hear that turbo whine.

My dad has been claiming me as a dependant, but I think i'm going to have to stop that this year so i can get some money back on my expences for work and such.
Will certianly have to crunch some numbers.
