PerTronix Ignitor III Distributor
Has anybody installed a PerTronix distributor that has a Ignitor III module in their truck? And if so, how well did it work/not work for you?
I've rebuilt and tweaked the the OEM distributor with points. Changed the mechanical timing so that I could go from 6 degrees to 16 degrees advanced without pinging. I think the points are "floating/bouncing" at higher RPMs. It has work okay but looking to upgrade to something better.
