Finally, a vintage truck I can work on. It has a 360 auto, standard cab, 8 foot box with factory air. I should be able to pull it into the driveway next week and starting the TLC. I am a long time mechanic and have a Motors manual on this year. Looking forward to picking you guys brains on the peculars of this vehicle. This is a Texas truck with zero rust or damage......chris
Wait. You've been here nine years... 41 posts. Think we all need to see a bunch of pictures of your "new" truck to make up for your lack of participation over the years. Rules is rules.
Yeah, I know. How do I post pictures here? I have been battling a small cancer problem the last few years so I have not been active in much. Now that I won that battle and bought another Ford, I am back. I currently have a 1995 F150 XLT 300-6 FWD, a 2010 F150 XLT crew cab, an now the 1972 F100. It has really been 9 years?....chris

Are you sure it has factory A/C? Three different types of A/C were available for 1968/72 F100/350's, one type was factory installed, two types were dealer installed.
All three types are "hang-on's" as their bezels bolt to the bottom of the dash.
Factory installed integral A/C (see pic) is combined with the heater, the A/C controls are located in the same panel as the heater controls.
The expansion valve mounts behind the glove box, so its liner is shorter. There's another glove box located within the bezel.
are in the same panel as the heater controls. Forgot to mention the factory paint is really nice. White cab top. The rest is light blue...The paint on the interior matches all the exterior paint....chris
