1974 F100
1974 F100
Hello all, I am a Blue blooded kinda Ford guy who is recently been shopping for a 74-78 2wd F100. I actually found a great prospect in a 74 F100, 360, auto, tool box, rear slider, original glass, Ranger and 80 000 miles, 2nd owner, no rust.
Once I told a friend of mine, he told me his dad has a old 74 F100, Ranger XLT, 390, 2wd, black/orange, auto, original owner, etc sitting in a field. The first truck is orange and white and both trucks purportedly ran when they were put to bed.
I have looked over a couple hundred or so posts, hopefully I will soon post a recent purchase looking for restoration advise.
PS, this will be a father/son project!!
Advise will be appreciated as to what to look for where to look etc.

Welcome to FTE
Do not believe the miles shown on the odometer.
The odometers on vehicles of this vintage read to 99,999.9 then return to ZERO.
And, do not believe a single word the seller claims. Private sellers can lie just as well as used/new car dealers, lawyers...and politicians.

Hi Bill, I'm still trying to figure out my way around on FTE, so please forgive me if I cross any lines. I'm down in the Temecula/Murrieta are of So. Cal. Is there anyway that I could have you send me an e-mail to bobbyshane@hotmail.com? If not I understand. Hope to hear from you. I would send something to you on here, but I haven't found out how to do that yet. Thanks Shane
