Vacuum operated 2 speed dash instructions

Anyone know if the placard for the 2 speed push/pull *** is available?
Mine is missing and I since it works, I would like the placard.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I really doubt it's available as a reproduction. Should be easy to find on someone's parts truck. I have the plate on my 2 ton if you want a photo.

This guy can reproduce anything: DataPlates.net - Professional Products for the Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC Industries - Engraved panel tags, phenolic tags, ID tags, labels, data plates, allen bradley, ab800t, AB800T

All he needs is a clear picture and accurate dimensions. He has done a bunch of work for the guys over on the steelsoldiers forum.
DataPlates.net - M35 M35A2 military truck data plates

I had him reproduce my glove box door rating plate. Other than it looks too new, it's spot on. (he only prints the data plate, he does not do the raised lettering)

Also, a local trophy shop can reproduce plates, if you have near perfect artwork.

When did they go from vacuum operated 2 speed rear to electric 2 speed rear? And is there any difference in the operation of the two kinds?

Here is a pic of the sunvisor instructions... just have the pic not the sunvisor:

Those are the electric 2 speed instructions. The vacumn operated plates are alot smaller. I'll check and see if i have an extra one here somewhere. I think the 48 52 plates were dash mounted? No maybe ive seen them mounted both places? Hmm

Yes the '48 were dash mounted and they were almost square. Someone has sent me a PM if it pans out I'll post pics.

Thanks everyone.

I'm sorry I got real busy this week and haven't got a photo of mine. It's on a '47 2 ton, but it's definately the square type and vacuum operated instructions. I have been practicing using the instructions on upshifts and downshifts, but it still is confusing, having never used one before.

Just curious.... is there a difference in the operation of electric and vacuum two speed rears?

I've driven trucks with electric but not vacuum.

I have one on my '50 F6; since I am changing the way it shifts I won't be using it. PM me if you want it.
