Could someone point me to the right place or tell me the best kit to buy. I assume that there is already a port, place somewhere on my truck where it can be bolt on directly, right? I'd like to order it ASAP so I can install it this coming weekend. Thx
depending on the thread pitch from DP, most/if not allof us, use the #4orb(m) x 1/8npt(f) threads, to install the sender to the bowl. You can had the adaptor at any hydraulic/hose place for a couple buks.
Those links were sent to me by Jody from DP himself. The wiring harness will plug into the pressure sender, and will plug into the Infinity directly. I plumbed my sensor into the post-filter test port on the fuel bowl (the plug closer to the passenger side).
However, the harness doesn't have the length to reach the Infinity mounted in any sensible location, so will have to be extended by splicing in additional wire. This can be hidden under the fuse panel. You could also spring for the CEI Hub from DP which would eliminate this problem, but was too expensive for me personally at the time.
Not a problem. If you choose to install the sender in the pre-filter port and run the wires straight from there to the firewall you might have enough wire to plug it in to the Infinity if you keep it in the bottom left corner of the windshield. I wanted it to be more tidy than that, so splicing was necessary.
Good luck!
