identifying my mystery block

i bought a 1968 ford F-100. the previous owner claimed it was a 429 Cobra jet engine, obviously not original to the truck. i have had no luck finding a good way to identify the block by reading these forums. im doing a part restoration on the whole vehicle and plan on finishing it later when i have a career are am financially able to im only 18. but the casting numbers are C7ME-. there isnt a letter after the hyphen. the valve covers have "Cobra lemans" in raised lettering on them, also most likely not stock to the engine. the fly wheel has a 6 bolt pattern, it also has 352 casted in the front and on the side maybe the back also. the intake is aftermarket holley alluminium. i realize i have to measure the bores to determine the actual size and stroke but i am trying to see if theres an easier way.

Does the intake go under the valve covers? If so, it's not a 429. Those were essentially a shorter stroke version of the 460, a very different engine class. I don't think that the 352 block could be taken out to a 427 or 428 either.
