4R100 No fluid filling converter or coming out cooler lines.
Well here is my story. purchased it about 6 months ago and it had a little knock, ended up being a cracked flex plate so I replaced it. It drove well for a few hundred miles then one day when I pulled off the freeway it would not continue going. My brother and I jumped out and started pushing it and he got in it as I was pushing it and while in drive he reved up the motor and it started to go but high rpm's and slowly going. Anyways got it home and replaced the torque converter, because you could hear broken pieces in it. Went to fill it and no circulation of the fluid. I put 2 quarts in the converter before I installed it but it wouldn't fill or circulate the fluid. So I went and bought a re-manufactured tranny pump. Dropped it again installed new pump and when I went to fill it same thing. From here I went to pick n pull and pulled a tranny and installed it went to fill it up and same thing not circulating or filling up the converter. So I figure I couldn't of got a transmission with the same problem and that some how it must be electrical. I checked the pcm relays, fuses and diodes and all were fine. Now I'm stumped. Could the transmission module stop fluid from filling the torque converter? Not sure how all the new electrical things work on these newer trannys. If any one can offer a little advice I would greatly appreciate it....
For some reason the engine is not turning the pump. It could be another bad flex plate, the input shaft, or the torque converter not properly seated in the pump/
