4r100 post flush abnormalities
The next day while keeping rpms low and driving, the 2nd to 3rd shift acted very funny and pretty much shifted into 3rd then immediately into OD, then into 3rd etc...until I let off the throttle. I paid very close attention and couldn't make it do it again. I thought well, I probably moved a small piece of trash through the system no big deal. Now,
when backing up my driveway (50 ft) on an incline, if the rpms are low it will buck and chatter. If you give it gas and accelerate more aggressively, it will back up smoothly. Any idea on key problems to search for? I have come to a dead end on internet searches. I am actually looking for someplace to backup on an incline repeatedly hoping to "work it out". Any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated. And if you read some of the other forums, I am sorry ahead of time for any duplicate posts. Some people only read one website and I want to get as many opinions as possible.
Did they change the internal filter? It may not be installed right, or they may have used a filter from a 4x2 E4OD. Those have a shorter pickup tube and can suck air.
