Wink Greetings from the latest Newb

Good Morning all; I have been lurking for a while reading up on the 6.0's, and after seeing all the help and love on here I went ahead and pulled the trigger on an 05 CC LB 4x4 with 170K on her. I love the truck and have already started parts gathering for the head studs, EGR delete and oil cooler rebuild.....thanks largely to the insight on this forum I am confident that I will love this truck as much as my 7.3's maybe more! After driving it for a week I have noticed a few things that make me uneasy though, the oil change was over due by 3k (fixing that tonight) and there is definately some stiction going on( hoping oil change/Revx fixes) but if not should I change all injectors or can I isolate the sticky one only? I've also noticed a horrible "bounce/Hop" at interstate speeds. I've read that this is common and was wondering if any one has found a solution yet?
I will keep you all posted as my adventure goes on and all my "fun" parts get installed.

1. ARP head studs
2. Sininster EGR delete
3. Edge insight ( for monnitoring)
4. MBRB 4 in turbo back cat and muffler delete
5. SCT tuner (still undecided model)
6. 2in levelling kit
7. Mossy Oak Vinyl Kit
8. Wheels and tires

Hopefully my couch is comfortable!

Oil change might help the stiction, if not you can polish the spool valves. No need to change the entire injector at the moment.

To isolate the problematic injector will take an AE program or Ford's IDS.

As for the rear end bounce, which is usually experienced around 50 mph, takes either shimming the driveshaft carrier bearing for long beds or flipping the tapered axle blocks on short beds.

Welcome to FTE, that looks like a good list ,but don't forget the Other maint needed coolent flushing,( distilled water and ford prem Gold ),5w 40 synthetic oil (rotella) , the Rev X is a real good product and it fixed my stiction depends on how bad the oil side is for $30 could be worth a try.
do you run a fuel supplement ( diesel kleen ,howes etc). The most Importent of all is the Monitoring witch I see you got coverd
OH the bed bounce , I just put alittle weight back there ,when I can the wife sits there other wise some sand bags

There are about 3 different TSB's on the subject:

Basically the 2 piece driveshaft you shim the carrier bearing down 1/4"-3/4"

If that doesn't work new shocks are installed.

With the one piece driveshaft you take the tapered blocks and swap them side to side.

The dealer wont sell revx ,need to get that and other OEM parts from Riff raff diesel products, online sales only and they are quick at getting your order out.

Sometimes it is hard to differentiate between stiction and a weak FICM ........... Check System and FICM voltages before changing injectors.

hoping to have my edge in this week...will definitely check FICM,
I am wondering in the mean time about how much fuel dilution is normal in the engine oil? when I changed the oil, it reeked of diesel....oil level was not high and it was overdue a change by about 3K. I remember my 7.3's always had a diesel smell, but this was like black colored fuel. I am probably being oversensitive, but I am still leery of this motor.
