1999 F150 Odometer repair/resolder
I recently resoldered my odometer as other posts have detailed. (Thanks for that information) It worked great, but now it continues to go blank and right before it goes blank, it will display ##### symbols. Eventually it will illuminate. Any suggestions, maybe a newer cluster? If I were to get a new cluster, would the miles be updated to original? Thanks

If you have the cluster replaced by a dealer, they will order the replacement cluster to be pre-programed by their support center with the correct mileage. The mileage is not otherwise re-programmable.
For example, if you replace the cluster with a used one, it cannot be re-programmed "in the field" to the correct mileage. It would also require PATS reprogramming at a dealer or by a locksmith because it won't be able to be started otherwise.
