cac boots

alright, my trucks a L99, and has an all aluminum IC, alumnium end caps. i got the boots, thinking i need the 3in ones, but for the life of me, can not get them to go over the "flared" part on the IC? Tell me i didnt order the wrong ones... The endcaps measure 3in but the "flared" part is more like 3-5/16

Sounds like you need the 3.25"x3" inlet/outlet boots. When you order the kit from clay at riffraff there's an option for the IC boots. If your flares measure 3 5/16 then you definitely need 3 1/4 on the intercooler side.

Yup... I had to get the 3.25 X 3.00 CAC boots for the intercooler.

And here i thought, i was the only one with a "hat" on, in the classroom... Tug, you have the aluminum endcap IC? My problem was i did a quick measure with all hooked up. So, the exposed area IS 3in, but that damn "bump" area messed me up.
