Intercooler boots

I need a new Intercooler boot. The PN for the boot is 6C3Z6C640B. Powerstrokeshop has it for $40 but I found one on Puredieselpower.com for $21 but I don't think it's the same one:
3"x4" Long Heavy Duty Reinforced Silicon Intercooler Hump Hose

The boot that I need is for the hot side which connects the pipe to the actual Intercooler.

The air box I made was rubbing against it and it almost made a hole in it. It's ok for now but I know it will go sooner or later. Anyone have their old one after upgrading to newer boots?

I don't think that is the right boot. I think the boot is longer then 4". Also, I think there is a step down in the OD with of the boot from the IC to the tube.

Rick is correct. That boot is not correct. I do not know the right dimensions but it should be something like 3" on one end and about 3 1/2" on the other. Someone more knowledgeable will come along soon I hope. LOL

Allen, I just upgraded my boots to the dieselsite boot kit. They are way better then the stockers are. If you want the stockers pm me.

I just looked at mine. About the same diameter on both ends and probably closer to 6 inches than 4. No, really. Ask my wife......

I found the correct one for my truck. the dimensions are 3" X 3-1/4" X 6"...

I will prob have to go to the stealership since powerstrokeshop.com's price with shipping is about the same. Thanks for the help...

"totin_tools" I appreciate the offer but I believe your truck has a metal intercooler and the boots won't fit on my plastic intercooler. Thanks for the offer though...
