Intercooler

I had a 99 intercooler purchased but the guy backed out on me!!! I just found an entire intercooler kit off a 97 F250 for $300 locally. Should I jump on it? It has all the hoses and hardware. Unknown what the brand is but the intercooler itself if 18"X24" long and 3" thick

It sounds like the Hypermax IC. Not a bad price and no fab work.

Well I picked it up. It is a universal IC but the pipes are all Hypermax. Have to hide it from the wife for a few weeks. Apparently I'm not allowed to add photos or I'de post some.

The guy I bought it from said it would bolt right in. He took it off cuz he has to sell his truck to pay his taxes......nuff said. I'll let ya know how it turns out
