Check fuse #23 in the engine bay.
That fuse powers a lot of areas and will cause many codes to be set for the various failures the PCM detects.
If the fuse blows at replacement there is a short to ground at some point along the harness or at a sensor.
Get those codes cleared then address any left over as a different problem.
Let use know how it goes.
Good luck.
i guess that last mechanic took it out cause there was no fuse pressent so for now i have a 15amp fuse inside i got to go get the corect fuse but all codes are cleard

Most don't have the info to see all the things that fuse powers.
You would have had to list the codes, see what the codes are telling, then look on the power drawings to chase back to see what is powered by a common fuse then the light in the head comes on. AHHH yes!
The tipoff is the codes all seem unrelated but involve the transmission, the OX sensors and items in a harness going back to those areas..
Normally this never happens with a single fault, so it must be common in some other way. Power is the common point.
Some one grounded the harness at some point in time to blow the fuse or it was left out trying to find the trouble.
BTW, I cheat! Have 60 yrs. troubleshooting you just had the benifit of.
Saw all this before.
Happy Holidays.
yes i got lucky and thaknfull u knew how they were realted it would have been nice to refer to darawings but i can't find any for the ford trucks except my cution ranger
and the fuse was moved over by sone ones else the fuse in question was in a free spare slot and no one i am aware of has checked that fuse so we are pretty sure that the mechanic who did his tune up (i am not happy he did not bring it to me ) must have pulled it out for some reason or another cause he is the only other person to have worked on the truck since my frined baughter a few months ago ( and it did not have theat problem till after the mechnanic)
anyway much thatnks for the advice
