I ordered the correct latex tubing in black from Liesure pro which was the provided link. I had a 25 foot fish tape. A can of WD40. I sprayed each hole with WD40 so much so it came out both ends. I was getting excited and slid the fish thru the proper hole. Slid the end of the tubing over the fish and taped with black surgical tape. I was doing this by myself so I sprayed a 2 foot section of the tubing, went to other end and pulled that thru, stopped and repeated spraying and pulling another 2 feet. I even went back and resprayed thru some of the holes. 4 failed attemps I cant get the stupid thing thru . What am I doing wrong? Seriously the damn video makes it look so easy. Is it the WD40?
As Snow suggested, use plenty of silicone spray lube. In addition, find someone to help you. Even with the silicone spray the tubing will start dragging as you pull it through, requiring more spray. Also, after you have the tubing pulled through and cutoff, don't worry if the ends slide back inside the door seal a few inches. Just cut some short pieces of tubing and shove them in the ends and trim after you reinstall the seals in the door frames.
This mod is definitely worth the effort. You won't be disappointed. My front doors rattled something fierce on the latches when driving on dirt roads, and the road noise was so noticeable that you'd swear the doors weren't closed all the way. Now the ride is as quiet as a Cadillac!
I used WD-40. You need a helper to pull the fish tape as you continuously spray the WD-40 as you feed it into the weatherstripping. It will not work starting and stopping (at least it wouldn't for me).

I created two small tears in the friggin strip trying to make it work. So guessning silicon works much better than WD40
Well I did it just like Epic demonstrated. Nobody to help, but I did it in stages using silicon spray. I wonder if there is a difference in the latex tubing I used. Mine was light-brown....
Overall, the mod, once installed works great. I have it for nearly 20K miles now...

Help
May I ask what video you are talking about? I would love to fix the doors from rattling.
Just did this a week or so ago. As others said, go to Wally World and get some silicone spray, it's only a couple of bucks. You need to keep the weather strip as straight as possible. Its easier if you and your helper keep tension on the strip while you pull the latex through. It will stretch as you pull it through so keep pulling until you have a few inches come out the other side, then wiggle the stripping while holding the latex and see how much it wants to recoil, pull more through if needed.
