Accelerate up to 50's mph, let off accelerator, then re-accelerate..especially on an incline. Get a rough jerk motion until I either let off the accelerator or accelerate hard through it. It doesn't seem to occur when the Overdrive is on. No codes are thrown.
Been to two shops, one a general shop to diag the engine and to tranny shop but neither was sure. I guess I'll have to go to the dealer but I was curious what others think of the problem.
Did you ever find out what was wrong? My 04 does the same thing. Take it out of overdrive andit doesn't do it but the rpm's are higher. I have a ford reman trans with only about 30,000 on it.
Yep, it was the coils. Once I took it to the dealer they knew what it was but they hooked it up to their laptop while we took it for a spin anyway. Showed it dropping several different ones badly and couple more not quite so bad so I just replaced all of them. Took care of it.
