Before I start I know it would be alot of work but I am not worried about that. I would like to have a f250 4x4. It is getting tough to find a nice one. I have an excellent condition 95 f150 4x4 short bed extended cab 351 auto xlt 150000 miles that currently only needs to have the radiator support replaced. Other than that it is in good condition with no rust or driveline trouble. I would like to find a f250 short bed extended cab that has a good frame and driveline that I could change my engine and complete body over to it. Is the cab and doghouse mounts the same between 150 and 250? Wiring should not be a problem since I would use all of mine. What do you think? I hate to sell mine and buy another and have to fix all the stuff I already have on this one.
it is all the same and a direct bolt on as long as you use the same wheelbase and sheet metal configuration trucks.
your 95 body will bolt rite on a 92-97 frame.
that sounds like a lot of work just to have the same truck in a f-250, but if you have to have a 250 then I would start looking at parts yards for 8 lug axles (with springs), I think this would be much easier
I think the hardest part of this might be finding the truck. I'm not even sure they ever made an OBS Supercab Short Bed F-250, and if they did it was only made in 1997 like the Crew Cab Short Bed. I know someone who has a CCSB F-250 and have seen a few others around, but I have never seen a SCSB F-250. If they are out there, it's going to be very hard to find one.

Ford did make SC SB F-250s. I have only seen 2 though, one was a 97 with the 7.3L diesel and the other was the 5.8L gas (unsure of the year).
I just got this f250 dulley frame with a f150 body and a rebuilt 460 manual 460 manual transmission.
