You can do anything. Just takes cubic money. I have been thinking about doing this but going the other way. Mid 70s body on a SD v10 frame and running gear. The problem as I see it is the difference in wheel base as the SD is several inches longer which in my case would mean shortening the frame. Also there would be major radiator support rework but I suppose bed and cab mounts would just need new holes drilled. Like I say , I am JUST THINKING about this. Maybe in 6 months after I retire and get a garage.................
